Brazil Online Gambling Bill Uproar

A new bill in Brazil is threatening to prevent iGaming operators from accepting bets made by Brazilian residents starting right of as this summer's world cup and beyond. If approved, the law would let any public attorney the option to file for an injunction before a Brazilian court in a request to block foreign iGaming sites, a thing which could potentially force overseas operators to defend themselves. The bill, supported by President Dilma Vana Rousseff, was approved by the Brazilian Congress late March, and it could be passed as a law in the Federal senate within the next 30-60 days.
