The Foxes host the Reds tonight at King Power Stadium and the action starts at 20:00 GMT.
Tonight will be a night of new beginnings as Craig Shakespeare takes control of Leicester, following the firing of Claudio Ranieri from the helm, following a dismal season in all competitions. Leicester must now face Liverpool tonight with a relatively strong side, but with a new caretaker manager, and one of their star defenders out, can they really beat the Reds?
Defender Molla Wague is out tonight for the Foxes, as his shoulder injury has not yet healed. Liverpool might be without both Dejan Lovren and Daniel Sturridge, but they will have back Ragnar Klavan.
Last year in this same fixture, Leicester won the match 2-0 when Jamie Vardy scored the pair, but this is a whole different year and a whole different Leicester squad. "Momentum is a big word in football. We had that last year. What I would say is they've trained well over the last few weeks especially. We've refocused ourselves," said new manager Shakespeare.
The last meeting between Liverpool and Leicester was won by the Reds 4-1 at Anfield and a win tonight would be the first time Liverpool has won the season series since 2001-02. The Foxes are in major need of a win, but Liverpool is coming off a big win against Tottenham last weekend and look to be too strong for the Foxes to win tonight.
Prediction
The cards are all pointing in a Liverpool win and bettors should expect a result of 1-2 for the Reds.
