The mobile provider has exhibited effective marketing strategy for online casino expansion.

Offering over 350 games via mobile devices in addition to tablets and PCs, the UK's LeoVegas Casino has jumped to the forefront of the online gaming market since its launch in 2014.

Implementing Growth

In general, growth has certainly exceeded original expectations, a refreshing change from the often overambitious revenue projections for online activity that fill headlines in the contemporary environment of fledgling start-ups and mergers in iGaming.

This has clearly been a proactive process, with innovative marketing measures driving growth in the UK market. Among them, the use “King of Mobile Casino” on all advertising material; the launch of the first LeoVegas.com TV advert in the UK; the introduction of the Leo the Lion logo as King of Mobile Casino to UK TV audiences; expanding TV and radio commercials broadcasts in the UK; and an iPhone 6 campaign voted number one PR stunt of 2014 within the gaming industry.

LeoVegas plans for this year include further expansion of growth into territories outside the company's Nordic marketing and operation base.

Expansion Model

With employee support currently numbering over 100 on-staff positions in five different countries, LeoVegas has implemented an infrastructure to support expansion of online casino operations worldwide.

Business drives expansion. UK deposits at LeoVegas' global casino have increased since the company's inception - rendering the UK LeoVegas' second largest global market.

By the end of 2014, LeoVegas' net gaming revenues were hitting all-time highs successively for October, November and December 2014. LeoVegas has expanded since then to increase its net gaming revenues a further 130% through infrastructural supports such as the addition of new channels and the launch of a £2 million TV ad campaign. Robust growth is being bolstered by aggressive marketing as LeoVegas clearly looks to surge through the online casino revenue window.
