Serbia v. Canada, Czech Republic v. Argentina, Friday-Sunday.
Argentina head to Prague for the David Cup semi-finals Friday without their top player Juan Martin del Potro, while the Czechs have been bolstered by the appearance of both Tomas Berdych and Radek Stepanek for the the first time in the entire 2013 campaign. Together, they played all five matches in their 3-2 win over Spain in last year's final.
The Czechs, who are aiming to reach their third final in five years, have come this far despite injuries to both stars. Berdych missed the 3-1 quarter final victory in Kazakhstan while Stepanek was absent from the 3-2 first round victory over Switzerland. Backups Lukas Rosol and Jiri Vesely have both been included in the Czech squad.
In the other semi-final in Belgrade, Canada will be hoping to prove that they belong in the last four when they meet powerhouse Serbia. But they had better watch out: Novak Djokovic will be out to atone for Monday's US Open final, where he failed to defeat arch-rival Rafael Nadal.
