Ten teams to progress to final round in African qualifying to be set Saturday
The group stage of the African qualifiers for the 2014 World Cup will come to a close on Saturday, with a number of matches set to determine which 10 countries go through to the final round. The top five of the 10 teams in the final round will head to Brazil for next year's World Cup.
Ethiopia, Tunisia, Cote d'Ivoire and Algeria already secured the top spot in their groups and qualification for the next round prior to the final matches.
In some cases, the top two teams will compete directly for top spot: Nigeria host Malawi needing only a draw to keep the visitors from snatching top spot; Likewise Senegal v. Uganda, where Uganda must win to keep Senegal from qualifying for the next round.
In other cases, it is indirect: Burkina Faso will look for three points against Gabon, but with the full knowledge that even if they do win, Congo will still qualify if they win against the group's bottom team, Niger.
With an almost-complete schedule of African qualifiers, William Hill Sports will be busy bringing you all the pre-match and live betting odds. Place a pre-game wager on match result or any of the other usual options, such as double chance, total goals odd/even and various specials.
And if you're planning on watching the game live or streaming it through the Internet, then Hill's In-Play betting will be there by your side, bringing you odds on every match on the African continent in real-time.
