Live Betting: NBA Western Conference Finals Game 2

Sol FH. - May 18, 2016

The NBA Western Conference Championships continue tonight at 2:00 GMT at Oracle Arena.

It was something that no one had suspected would ever happen in Game 1 of the Conference Finals between the Oklahoma Thunder and the Golden State Warriors. The Thunder were able to shut down the MVP offensive attacks by Steph Curry and hold on for the win in Game 1 108-102 in Oakland. The Thunder lost all of the regular season games against the Warriors, but after beating the Spurs and holding on for a Game 1 win against the Warriors, Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and the rest of the Thunder look like they could be the team to watch out for.

The Warriors came out strong in the opening quarters of the game, leading 60-47 at the half. Whatever Billy Donovan said to his team during halftime must have worked wonders as the Thunder roared back in the third and fourth quarters outscoring the Warriors 61-42 and holding the reigning NBA Champions to a mere 14 points at home in the fourth quarter. The Thunder outscored, out rebounded and and had fewer turnovers than the Warriors, which was ultimately the final nail in the Game 1 coffin to get a huge win.

The Thunder are Incredible On-the-Road

Tonight, the series is still in Oakland and the Warriors will be working to level the series at a game apiece as it heads over to Oklahoma for Games 3 and 4. The Thunder are playing extremely well on-the-road, winning the final games against the Spurs in San Antonio as well. They are now 5-1 when playing as the visiting team in these NBA playoffs, but can they really beat the best team in the NBA back-to-back? It is very doubtful that the Warriors will lose two-straight, something that did not happen once during the regular season.
