Live Betting Preview: Penguins-Bruins Game 3

The Pittsburgh Penguins topped the Eastern Conference in the NHL 2012-13 regular season, but it all counts for nothing given that they have scored just one goal in two consecutive home losses to the Boston Bruins. To see their home ice again this season and avoid an unlikely sweep, the Penguins will have to win in Boston either tonight or Friday.

If they are to win, Sidney Crosby and the Penguins will have to return to the form that saw them lead the NHL in scoring in the shortened 48-game regular season. They averaged 4.27 goals per game in the first two rounds of the Stanley Cup playoffs including a stunning 13 goals in the last two games against the Ottawa Senators.

Boston has shut down the Penguins with disciplined defense, pressuring the Penguin's offence down the length of the ice. They know they will have to continue applying the pressure if they are to win this series and face off against the Chicago Blackhawks or Los Angeles Kings for the Stanley Cup.
