Live NBA Action: Cavs vs. CelticsPublished December 15, 2015 by Sol FH
Cavs vs Celtics live at 00:35 GMT tonight. Will the Celtics stop the Cavaliers in Boston?
The Cavaliers are almost back at full strength, which is great news for the squad, as they will need all hands on deck to beat the Celtics. Boston was almost the team to stop the Warriors' record breaking season, taking Golden State to double overtime, only to lose the game 124-119 on Friday night. The Celtics are coming off of a win against the Hornets and are now in 7th place in the Eastern Conference, just one game behind the Miami Heat.
The Cavaliers injuries and road record are the two most important aspects of tonight's game. The Cavs are 5-6 when playing on the road this season and the team looks tired and messy, albeit with LeBron James on the floor to clean up afterwards. The Cavs are coming off their biggest win of the season 111-76 against the 8th place Orlando Magic on Saturday and have had a chance to rest for a couple of days ahead of tonight's game.
The Cavaliers are shooting very well, going 56.9% against the Magic and scored 31 points off of 20 turnovers, but lest we forget that they lost three-straight games before the blowout. Cleveland will also soon be welcoming back all-star point guard Kyrie Irving, expected to return in the next few days to take pressure off of Shumpert and James. The Cavs will definitely have J.R. Smith back in the lineup after he fell to illness on Friday, which is great news for Cleveland.
