Liverpool will play in the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday.

Jurgen Klopp welcomes Cardiff City to Anfield for what appears to be a reasonably straightforward encounter on paper. Klopp seems to be putting more focus on domestic cup tournaments this season.

Obviously, things rarely pan out that way, but few would deny Liverpool's strength in front of their own fans, and they could follow up their Carabao Cup final appearance with a relatively uncommon FA Cup run.

After recovering from a horrific fractured ankle he suffered in September, Harvey Elliott is expected to return in some manner.

On the other hand, Luis Diaz has only recently joined the group following his international successes with Colombia; thus, he is unlikely to make his debut anytime soon. A chest ailment hampered Thiago Alcantara's recovery from a hip injury he picked up earlier in the week. 

After Senegal and Egypt advanced to the Africa Cup of Nations final, which will also take place on Sunday, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane will be absent.

Prediction for Liverpool versus Cardiff
Even if Klopp opts to rotate, it's challenging to imagine Cardiff getting anything at Anfield due to Liverpool's dominance.
