Lucky 247 Casino Receives Safe and Fair Seal of ApprovalPublished July 4, 2013 by OCR Editor
This much sought after designation brings the highest level of player security to the forefront.
eCOGRA, founded in 2003 to set and improve operational standards and player safety in the i-gaming space, has just recently awarded its "Safe and Fair" seal to To Play Central Limited's interactive gaming site. This prestigious award follows the completion of a rigorous audit and on-site inspection process.
This newly assigned granted seal was awarded by eCOGRA's Seals Compliance Committee on June 12. This designation increases the number of tier one operations that have successfully met eCOGRA's international framework for operational practice requirements to 201.
eCOGRA was founded in 2003 primarily to set and improve operational standards and player safety in the i-gaming space. Since that time eCOGRA has garnered an impressive wealth of experience in implementing international best practice standards and requirements and ensuring these are maintained through regular review and monitoring.
To date, there are over 200 of the most well respected and established internet gambling websites that are accredited and policed by the independent, London-based company. eCOGRA is staffed by professional auditors with Big 4 auditing firm experience, information system experts and responsible gambling specialists.
Maintaining Its Accreditation
In order to maintain this much valued seal, the Lucky247 internal processes, controls and systems are to be consistently monitored. This occurs through recurring operational audits. The fairness of the gaming software will be subject to eCOGRA's output-based testing regime, which includes extensive data analysis, at frequent intervals, over every live gaming result.
The entire process was overseen by eCOGRA's compliance manager Shaun McCallaghan, who had this to say in his report to the Compliance Committee:
"The audit process revealed a well-run operation supported by sophisticated technical systems. Management displayed a high regard for player protection and the organisational discipline in meeting compliance obligations was apparent."
