The SiGMA 2017 conference taking place in Malta from November 22 - 25 kicked off yesterday, promising to bring valuable gaming industry insights and knowledge once again. Since its first iteration in 2014, the SiGMA conference has grown to become one of the most prestigious yearly events, gathering all the important players from all sides of the industry.
Wide Array of Topics
SiGMA 2017 gathers guests, delegates, and speakers from all corners of the world, covering a wide array of relevant industry fields, from Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) and affiliation to payment processing, regulatory issues, and much more.
This year's edition will also offer an educational iGaming Academy Forum. The forum will discuss a number of interesting topics, such as anti-money laundering trends and policies, social responsibility, new data protection regulations that could have a major impact on the iGaming industry, as well as day-to-day casino operations, touching upon topics of management, customer retention, affiliate marketing, etc.
SiGMA 2017 Taking Things to the Next Level
This year's conference will look to continue on the success of SiGMA16, taking the whole event to the next level. SiGMA 2017 takes place inside a larger area of Malta Fairs & Convention Center, featuring an iGaming Village. The village offers six different themed bars and two lounge areas where conference guests and participants will be able to relax, take a lunch break, and, of course, forge new business relationships.
The official part of the conference takes places simultaneously with an iGaming expo taking place in the adjacent area. Some of the topics that will be covered by expert speakers during the SiGMA 2017 conference include The European Fantasy Sports Summit, a number of speeches covering safety protocols for the payment processing, a segment devoted to eSports and the future of sports betting, and more.
As for the networking part, aside from the casual encounters, the conference organizers have made sure to offer plenty of opportunity for the participants to meet and talk to each other, including a number of organized drinks and diner get-together events, as well as a special poker tournament.
