It was a disheartening failure, but the point they scrapped at Old Trafford proved to be enough after all. That’s because their city rivals were just as ineffective on the road against Middlesbrough, so the two teams continue their fight for the Champions League. Arsenal is almost out of the race and unless they managed to defeat the Red Devils in London, everything will be lost.

Arsene Wenger is almost certain to leave the club at the end of the season and he hopes to send Arsenal to the Champions League. So far their mission doesn’t look very promising, especially after their defeat on the road against Tottenham.
