Georgia looks ready to receive a wide range of applications after unveiling its landscape and practices to the public at iGaming Georgia.

Smile-Expo put on the event in Tbilisi October 18th, dedicating the first Georgia iGaming Affiliate Conference to the specific nature of online and offline gambling business operations, Georgian gambling market prospects, and casino promotion using affiliate marketing.
On-hand for networking and presentations were a full host of casino managers; affiliate network representatives; government officials; webmasters; arbitrage experts; SEO specialists; and gambling regulation and taxation professionals.
Key presentations included Digital Choo SEO Head Sviatoslav Slaboshpitskiy speaking on: The Art of War in SEO: How to Win the iGaming Niche. Svi emphasized the need to develop niche websites to while continuing to analyze response, and the rules for SEO building.
The Influencer Effect
Another great presentation was Zlodei Advertising Agency CEO Dmitriy Makarov and Zlodei CMO Gleb Sanzharevsky's collaborative presentation on ad placement on YouTube and Twitch, showing how promotion via influencers stands to increase conversion better than direct advertising, with user stories and popular memes providing the most advantage.
Then Serpact CEO Nikola Minkov went on to examine the application of Featured Snippets, saying that Google provides users with snippets in 40% of search queries. He identified advantages of snippets as organic traffic and enhanced click-through rate.
Georgia Finance Ministry CFO Ketevan Bitskinashvili then intrigued audiences with special features of the Georgian gambling market regulation, and identified variables in licensing fees such as venue, target region, and number of installed gambling machines.
As far as the landscape, Ms. Ketevan explained how Georgia had already issued 214 gambling licenses, with 20 casinos currently operation in the jurisdiction, with 10 of them located in greater Batumi and suburbs; 6 in Tbilisi; and one each in Gudauri, Tskhaltubo, Kazbegi, and Sighnaghi.
