Mare Baltium Gaming Summit Announces First Speakers

The first-ever Mare Balticum Gaming Summit shall take place on 8 May 2018. The summit has been organised by European Gaming Media and Events (EGME) and shall focus on iGaming markets within the Baltics and Scandinavia.

Latvia to Host

EMGE has booked the Astor Riga Hotel, Latvia, to host the one-day summit. The organiser has chosen the date to coincide with Europe Day, which shall commence on 9 May. Zoltan Tundik from EMGE has explained that the event has been arranged as means of bringing together regulators and operators to promote unity in iGaming.

Overall Plans

The summit is scheduled to host an array of panel discussions, with each billed as “The state of the industry”. These have been planned for Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Sweden. An additional discussion entitled Innovation Talks will also be hosted, and so shall a round table debate of Baltic regulators.

Morten Ronde

As of February, it has also been revealed that the first wave of speakers have been secured for the summit. Martin Ronde shall be in attendance on behalf of the Danish Online Gambling Association, which serves as a trade association. He has experience with helping to formulate an array of Danish online gambling regulation.

Renata Berzanskiene

Renata works with Sorainen Lithuania as a lawyer specialising in IT and data protection. After starting to practice law in 1992, Renata has earned experience advising gambling clients on matters or licensing and regulation.

Andrius Gabnys

Andrius is another of legal specialists who has been invited to the summit. The Gabnys Law Firm has been established with a focus on the areas of online gambling and technology. Andrius shall discuss the Lithuanian market.

Valts Nerets

Valts works at Sorainen Lithuania with colleague Renata. This means that Valts shall also be engaging on the matter of Lithuanian online gambling regulation. Valts also spends lecturing on law in the academic field.

Max Krupyshev

Max holds the post of COO with Cubits, which is a Bitcoin and cryptocurrency trading platform. He shall bring direct industry experience from the world of cryptocurrencies when discussing the Latvian market.

All of the speakers and more shall be in attendance at the Mare Balticum Gaming Summit 2018 on 8 May in Riga, Latvia.
