Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is both hilarious and epic.
The trailer for Marvel's highly anticipated movie "Guardians of the Galaxy" has been released, showing us the composition of the Guardian's superhero team, featuring among others a tree-like humanoid and a dangerous rocket-armed raccoon. Check it out for yourself:
Hitting theaters on August 1, 2014, Guardians of the Galaxy is a standalone from Marvel's Avengers franchise. The film follows Peter Quill (portrayed by Chris Pratt) who gets his hands on a precious orb which possesses enough power to threaten the whole galaxy.
Quill, a legendary space outlaw who goes by the alias Star-Lord, is on the run from the forces of the intergalactic dictator-type conqueror Thanos. Directed by James Gunn, the movie will also feature Dave Bautista (Batista from the WWE), John C. Reilly, Vin Diesel, Benecio del Toro and the voice of Bradley Cooper filling the role of the rocket-slinging raccoon named Rocket. The trailer funnily introduces the whole team, shows loads of action sequences and ends with Blue Swede's popular 1968 song "Hooked on a Feeling".
