Mekong Summit Unveils New Opportunities in an Emerging Asia Region Today

The opportunity to get a foothold in a dynamic emerging market in Asia takes place today.
The Mekong region is coming into focus for iGaming today.
Dynamic Region
Positioned between Asian economic giants China and India, the Mekong region centralised around Cambodia is one of Asia's fastest growing and well-positioned regions.
In a market where the casino industry has compiled a total of 184 licences, and 100 in the last year alone, the MeKong Gaming Hospitality Investment Summit in Phnom Penh will increase investor confidence by unveiling the new rules for the market to provide more transparency not just in Cambodia, but in the surrounding MeKong nations of Vietnam, Thailand, Laos and Myanmar.
The Event
The event is taking place from today September 10th until September 12th at Phnom Penh's Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokkethra (26 Old August Site, Samdach Sothearos Blvd (3), 12301, welcoming guests with an evening Welcome Cocktail Reception.
Day 1
The formalities begin the next morning with a Day 1 dedicated to Regional Updates on Gaming Regulation and Investment Outlook. Highlights include opening remarks from Asia Gaming Brief Managing Director Rosalind Wade; a Welcome & Opening Address from Secretary of State H.E. Nguon Sokha; speeches on the Road to Sustainable Growth from Ministry of Economy and Finance Director General H.E. Mey Vann and Managing Chinese Outbound Tourism by Cotril Director Professor Dr. Wolfgang G Arlt; and a networking lunch and Gala cocktail reception at NagaWorld to cap the day.
Day 2
Day 2 of the Mekong Summit will be dedicated to Gaming Technology, Marketing, and Operations. Featured topics include Sports Betting in SE Asia; Charting Game and Technology Habits; and VIP Preferences; and Setting up Your Asia Operation.
Speakers on Day 2 include iGaming Asia CEO Jesper Jensen; Asia Live Tech Marketing Manager Erwin Dickman; and Betradar Asia Managing Director Michael Maerz, before the conference closes with lunch.
