Microgaming Adds A Twist To Fruit Machines With Reel Splitter Slot
Published May 24, 2019 by Arthur M
Reel Splitter is a new slot from Microgaming that has a classic fruit machine style. Players can activate an extra reel to boost their winning chances.
Although the Reel Splitter slot from Microgaming looks like a conventional fruit machine, there's a hidden feature that adds a special twist to the gameplay. The 4 reels, with 81 paylines can be split by a bonus reel that gives players 243 ways to win in each spin.
Fruit Filled Games
Reel Splitter has been developed exclusively for Microgaming by Just For The Win. The game features vividly-coloured symbols against a black backdrop, which makes it stand out on desktop PCs and mobile devices. While playing card icons pay out the smaller wins, classic symbols of plums, cherries, lemons and watermelons return higher prizes.
Trigger Extra Ways To Win
If matching symbols land right a cross the 4 reels, players can see a fifth reel appear in the middle of the screen, boosting the number of winning ways. This extra reel locks in place while the others spin once more for free, potentially leading to five of a kind winning combinations.
A special free spins round is triggered by a bonus symbol appearing in 3 or 4 places at once. The game again switches to 5-reel, 243-ways mode and now pays from both the left and right sides, while the middle reel is filled with wild symbols throughout the feature.
Reel Splitter will be available at Microgaming online and mobile casinos from 15th May.
