So where will US gamblers play?
So far we have rumors and speculation, but the imminent implementation of UIGEA regulations on June 1 may push Microgaming, and casino such as All Slots that run on Microgaming software, out. For the past few years, while online casino operators were trying to make sense and work around the US online casino gambling laws, Microgaming stopped accepting new players from the US, but did support existing ones.
New casinos, replacing the closed-off casinos, will run on a new software platform. This has already taken effect in some cases. Such migration does not necessarily require opening a new account.
No public announcements has been made yet.
Like Playtech, Microgaming is shying from the iffy US market. What does this leave for American gamblers?
