Recently, however, we've been given a chance to peek behind the curtains as the company made it to the list of The 10 Coolest Offices of 2017 in the UK.
In Good Company
Making it to the list of The 10 Coolest Offices in the UK is no small feat and it is the one that company is particularly proud of. It shows that Microgaming pays special attention to creating an enjoyable, friendly, and comfortable working environment, making sure their employees are happy and satisfied.
Just how hard it is to make it onto the list is clear from the fact that other companies that were included are giants like Amazon, Deliveroo (a huge food delivery company), health and beauty chain Superdrug, etc.
Inside the Offices
The new company's headquarters opened for businesses a few months ago inside the five-storyy building that took around two years to complete. Inside it, there are 120 Microgaming employees who spend their days thinking about, designing, and finally delivering top-quality slots and other games found at online casinos around the globe.
The entire fourth floor is dedicated to relaxation and taking the time away from work desks. Microgaming encourages its employees to take breaks during the day, and in the communal area, they can relax playing table tennis, pool, and darts. There is even a library for those who prefer to rest their brains reading a few pages.
In addition to all this, there is also an in-house gym accessible to all the staff as well as the canteen where you can get a cup of exclusive Microgaming coffee blend.
John Coleman, Microgaming's CFO, acknowledged it was a great privilege to be featured on this list but it is also a clear sign that all the time spent planning and creating an enticing and inspiring work environment was a worthwhile investment.
