Microgaming Named Best Poker Network

Rival online gaming software companies Microgaming, Playtech go head-to-head.

Microgaming, one of the world's leading providers of online gaming software, has dominated the annual eGaming Review B2B Awards in London by winning the prizes for Poker Network of the Year and for Innovation.

Microgaming - The Best Poker Network

Microgaming was shortlisted for five awards at the annual awards night. Apart from best poker network and best innovation in slot provision, both of which it won, the online casino software company was nominated for casino supplier of the year, poker software of the year and slot provider of the year.

Microgaming CEO Roger Raatgever said the company was delighted to receive two awards, "particularly when up against such stiff competition," adding, "Innovation and independent thinking have been central to our growth since the company was founded over a decade ago and these awards recognize the ability of our team to keep our brand at the cutting edge of the eGaming sector."

Industry Big Names Capture Awards

Several other big names in the industry also won at the awards, which are in their second year. Playtech, Microgaming's rival in the field of online gambling software, also won two awards, being named RNG Casino Supplier of the Year and Bingo Network of the Year.

Income Access won best affiliate network, NetRefer won best affiliate software, Dragonfish took home awards for bingo supplier and poker software, and Skrill Holdings - formerly known as Moneybookers - took home the prize for best payments company.
