The partnership with Switch Studios will enable Microgaming to significantly improve their position in the table gaming market through a brand new series of innovative game releases.
Microgaming has set to disrupt the online gambling market through the series of partnership with independent development studios and this approach has already produced some notable results. The latest development has seen Microgaming partner up with Switch Studios, turning their sights away from slots for the moment and turning towards table games.
New Take on Classic Table Games
Switch Studios, Microgaming's latest partner, is an independent game development studio hailing from Ipswich, UK. The close-knit company of social gaming and online gambling experts has joined forces with the industry giant and will now set their focus on producing a new line of classic table games with a twist.
According to Microgaming's John Coleman, the CEO, Switch Studios have already proven themselves as an innovative and creative company, capable of producing stylish and appealing casino games, making them the perfect partner to disrupt another segment of the online gambling market.
Switch Studios' Tom David believes the company is ready to take on the challenge bringing style and innovation to the table gaming sector, producing entertaining and enjoyable content for the players.
3D Roulette Wheel Coming First
The first game to come out as a result of this partnership is a brand new roulette wheel, currently advertised simply as Roulette. The game promises to feature realistic 3D environment, support racetrack and favorites' betting, as well as some special bets. It will be particularly optimized for play on mobile play, allowing portrait and landscape modes, and promising a completely new on-the-go experience.
Roulette is only the start, though, as companies have announced the full suite of innovative table games to come in the following months, including Blackjack.
The partnership with Switch Studios opens new doors for Microgaming as they look to improve their presence and relevance in the table gaming market after pretty much securing their place as one of top few slot developers in the industry.
