Mobile Gambling with Samsung I9100 Galaxy S2

Another device has been introduced to the world of gambling, with the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this week.

This latest smartphone runs on the advanced Android 2.3 platform, with the possibility of an upgrade to the Android 2.4 system by the time the mobile device is actually released to the public.

Android compatibility comes as good news to online gaming aficionados, with the recent announcement that online gambling software giant Microgaming will be making all its online casino games available on the Android platform.

This comes amid predictions from analysts that Android will increase its market share of the global smartphone market to 14 percent by 2012, before becoming the biggest global mobile operating system a couple of years later.

This latest model is in every way superior to the previous Samsung Galaxy S, critics say, with a super Active Matrix OLED+ screen and features such as 80% reduction in power and winning color and image scheme that makes the device appropriate for everything from mobile sports betting to bingo to poker.

No doubt we haven't heard the last of Samsung's newest device, which is sure to rival even the biggest in the business, such as the Apple iPhone.
