Monday Night Football Betting: Vikings vs Bears

Sol FH. - October 31, 2016

Week 8 NFL action concludes tonight with a huge MNF game between the Vikings and the Bears at 00:30 GMT.

One of the classic rivalries in the National Football League is definitely between the Minnesota Vikings and the Chicago Bears. This season, these teams are on opposite ends of the table with the league leading Vikings at 5-1, while the Bears are in last place with a dismal record of 1-6. The Vikings are vast favorites to win tonight's game and with news of the Bears hiring outside consultation help, things could be getting much colder in Chicago.

Tonight will be the 110th time that these teams meet, with the Vikings leading the all time wins category at 57-50-2. Last year's meeting at Soldier field was won by Minnesota 23-20, but the Bears have won seven of the last eight against the Vikings when playing on home turf.

After losing their first game of the season last week, the Vikings will be focused on the Offensive and Defensive lines respectively. It was a wake-up call for the Vikings, still without their star RB Adrian Peterson, but the rest of the team has picked up the slack and new QB Sam Bradford has filled the shoes and is playing his role to the tee.
The Bears are at a loss. They are now in dead last place in the NFL altogether and they haven't put enough points on the board, nor stopped other teams' attacked on defense It is like everything that could go wrong has gone wrong and it doesn't look like it will get better anytime soon.

This game will be the seventh loss by the Bears this season and it is a same to lose in front of the home town fans, but that is what will happen tonight. The Vikings should easily control the speed of this game and they have enough weapons both through the air and on the ground to make the day difficult for the Bears. Expect a score around 34-17 when all is said and done.
