Monday Night Football: Colts vs. Eagles Betting Guide

It's the Colts vs Eagles for the second Monday Night Football game of the 2014 NFL regular season. Kick-off is at 1:35am (Tues.) in the UK.

Monday Night Football turns the most despised day of the week into an extension of the weekend as millions of people around the world tune in to watch. This week's game features two of the best teams in the NFL going head to head and it should be an action-packed four quarters of football. The Philadelphia Eagles try to keep their momentum going after their week one win, while the Indianapolis Colts try to bounce back after a tough loss.

In the Running

If we learned anything from week one it was that both the Eagles and the Colts could be solid contenders this year. Even though the Colts didn't get the win against the Broncos last Sunday, the fourth quarter that they played showed how dangerous they are. Ultimately, the Colts lost 31-24 but lest we forget it was 31-10 going into the fourth quarter as QB Andrew Luck threw most of his 370 yards in the second half finishing with two TD's.

The Eagles also had to rally in week one against the Jaguars after they gave up the ball on three bad turnovers and were behind 17-0 at the half. They proceeded to score 34 unanswered points as Nick Foles got his groove back finishing the day with 322 yards and two TD's.

Injury Report

The Eagles will only be without a few of their players this week including Josh Huff and Matt Tobin. The have listed Chris Polk as probable as well as Jaylen Watkins and Brad Smith.

The Colts lost a couple of their most valuable players including last season's sack leader (19.5) Robert Mathis and Jerrell Freeman. Arthur Jones, Khaled Holmes and Josh Chapman are all questionable.
