Monday Night Football: Inside News, Injuries, Odds and Prediction

Monday Night Football this week features the struggling Carolina Panthers visiting the best team in the NFC East, the Philadelphia Eagles. Both teams are NFC contenders and if the Panthers can pull out a win tonight, they’ll be in contention for top spot in the NFC South. 

It will be an uphill battle for the Panthers tonight as they are not even a shadow of the team that won twelve games last year. Their defense is full of holes and Cam Newton is not consistent at the helm.

Injury Report

The Eagles have already won six games and are serious NFC contenders. One of the major obstacles that the Eagle’s attack will need to overcome is that they will be without their starting QB Nick Foles, which could pose a real problem for Philadelphia.  LeSean McCoy, Philly’s starting RB is still questionable and without him, the Eagles will have a limited ground game.

The Panthers have suffered a wealth of injuries this season and tonight is no better. Bene Benwikere is out, as is Trai Turner both with ankle injuries. Philly Brown, Dwan Edwards and Kawann Short are all probable but they might not get the green light.
