Monday Night Football Preview and Odds: Eagles vs. Bears

What an exciting beginning it has been for the NFL regular season. Games have been all that football fans could wish for with hard hits, highlight reel touchdowns and amazing defensive plays. Week 2 comes to a close tonight with a match from Chicago, as the Bears host the Philadelphia Eagles at Soldier Field.

The Eagles started off their regular season with a 29-10 win over the Cleveland Browns, and the Eagles' rookie QB Carson Wentz looked excellent in his debut. Rookie quarterbacks have not fared well under the lights of Monday Night Games, but Wentz hopes that he will be able to prove the critics wrong and leave Chicago with back-to-back wins.

The Bears lost their season opener to the Texans and they had better find their groove if they want to get back on the winning track. The Bears are a lowly 3-13 over the last two seasons at home and Jay Cutler has won only 16 of his last 42 starts. In their first game, offensively they were terrible, but their defense did show some signs of life, which could be important against Wentz. The Bears risk ending up on the bottom of the NFC North if they cannot turn things around.
