Monday Night Football: Preview and Odds

The Seattle Seahawks host the Minnesota Vikings to cap off an exciting Week 14 in the NFL - 1:15 GMT.

The Seahawks and the Vikings go head-to-head to complete a very eventful week in the NFL Regular Season. The games this week impacted both teams respectively, but, for the Vikings, they are pretty much in a must-win situation. The Vikings still hold the sixth seed in the conference, but they fell back another two games thanks to the win by the Bears over the Rams. The Seahawks are just one game ahead of the Vikings in the conference, but the Vikings are looking stronger and must get their season back on track.

It will be a very tough game tonight, especially for Minnesota on the road, but, there are a few things to consider before casting a bet.

Vikings Run Defense vs. Seahawks' Run

The Vikings defense is ranked 7th in the league so far this year against the rush. They have allowed on average 99 yards per game, but, over their last three games, that number has been around 130 per game. The Seahawks' rush game is one of the best in league with their three stars in the backfield - Chris Carson, Rashaad Penny, and Mike Davis.

Vikings Offense

The Vikings have taken some slack over them not running the ball enough. They should have been able to control a more balanced game in last weeks' matchup, but due to an aerial attack strategy, they were cleaned up by the Patriots. They should be able to bounce back this week so expect a great game tonight.

Betting Odds

bet365 Sports has posted its odds in favor of the Seahawks at home for 1.60 on the Money Line. The Vikings are just behind at 2.45. This will be a tight game and a good score to bet on would be around 30-23 in favor of the visiting Vikings who must get the win.
