NBA All Star Weekend Huge for Betting

Big weekend provides fans with myriad of all-star betting opportunities.

It's that time of year when the best basketballers in the world gather in the one place for NBA All Star Weekend, in an event which is huge for online sports betting.

Online bookmakers such as Titan Bet and William Hill have already released some odds, with more to come for the T-Mobile Rookie Challenge, the Foot Locker 3-pt Contest, the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest and of course the game itself between the Eastern Conference and Western Conference.

60th All-Star Game

The West will surely enter the game as odds favorite, with Kobe Bryant looking to star at his home court The Staples Center, alongside buddies Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant and Yao Ming.

But they face a formidable task against Miami Heat pair Dwayne Wade and LeBron James, as well as Derrick Rose, Amar'e Stoudemire and big man Dwight Howard.

3-pt Contest

According to current online All-Star odds at Titan Bet, Boston Celtics Pair Ray Allen (9/4) and Pail Pierce (15/4) are favorites to win the 3-pt contest, followed by Durant, Golden State's Dorell Wright and Miami's James Jones, all 9/2.

Slam Dunk Contest

In the most popular event, Blake Griffin of the Los Angeles Clippers has stormed away to odds of 2/5, ahead of Toronto's DeMar DeRozan, 5/1, Washington's JaVale McGee, 6/1, and Oklahoma City's Serge Ibaka, 9/1.
