NBA Finals Game 5: Will the Warriors Win Tonight?

The Cleveland Cavaliers won a crucial Game 4, but can they continue their momentum in Oakland tonight at 2:00 GMT.

This year's NBA Finals could be decided tonight at Oracle Stadium in Oakland California, as the series heads back to the Warriors' home court. Having won huge victories in the first three games, including two blowout performances in Games 1 and 2, and a soul-crushing victory in Game 3, the Warriors are just one win away from taking the 2017 NBA title. The Cavaliers did bounce back in Game 4 in Cleveland, but some say that Golden State wasn't playing as hard, and wanted to win the Finals on home court. Will they do it? Check out the rest of this game preview and make the call for yourself.

Game 4 was the Kyrie Irving and LeBron James show. Not only did Irving score a game-leading 40 points and LeBron James recorded a triple double, the Cavs broke the NBA Finals record for 3-pointers with 24, as they avoided the sweep and have shown that they could still have a better chance that what was originally thought.

The Warriors are in better shape than last year at this same time. We all remember that their 3-1 series lead turned out to be one of the most amazing comebacks in NBA Finals' history, as the Cavs ultimately won 4-3. With the addition of Kevin Durant, arguably the most clutch player in the league right now, their chances are much better. The Cavs should be weary of the Warriors at home tonight, as they are looking to close out the series and you can be sure that Steph Curry and Co. will have a better time than they did in Game 4.

Prediction

Many people have jumped on the Cavs' bandwagon, but it if you are considering a bet tonight, put it on the Warriors, as they are so strong at home, it would be a miracle if the Cavs end up winning.
