The series heads to Cleveland, as the Cavs host the Warriors in Game 3 action tonight at 2:00 GMT.
Before Game 2 began, critics had basically written off the Cleveland Cavaliers’ chances at winning the NBA Finals. After yet another overtime, the Cavs have tied up the series at one game apiece and now head to their home court for games three and four.
The Cavaliers won Game 2 95-93 and showed their resilience after losing Kyrie Irving in Game 1. Instead it’s the Warriors that are not on their game, especially star player Steph Curry whom couldn’t put the ball in the basket; at least not like he usually does.
Game 2 was a much more physical than Game 1, and if things keep getting more aggressive we can expect a more perilous game. The refs let them play and in turn, 20 fewer points were scored. Curry was under pressure all night and was only able to score 19. He was 7 of 38 from the field, which was due to aggressive defense by Cleveland.
LeBron is on and put in another MVP performance. He went 11-35 but had 14-18 from the line and had 16 rebounds and 11 steals. James, unlike Curry, is able to score when under pressure and take hard fouls down the stretch.
