NBA is Back! Washington Wizards vs Atlanta Hawks Odds

The 2016/17 NBA regular season is underway and you can catch the action tonight at 00:30 GMT.
For the Washington Wizards, the 2016/17 regular season is a chance for redemption. After finishing the 2015/16 year in tenth place. If you recall, in 2014, the Wizards had all the right elements to becoming a serious opponent for the Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference, but instead, bad choices and the injury bug hit the team hard. The season opener will be the first chance for them to shine, but will have to get passed a Hawks team playing at home.
The Wizards are not missing a bunch of players, but Ian Mahinmi will be out until late November, if not longer, and he will be missed because the Wizards are short-stacked against Dwight Howard in the paint. The Hawks will need to win without the assistance of Tiago Splitter, while Mike Scott remains questionable.
Tonight's game should be an action-packed match-up between two physical teams. Punters should expect a lot of scoring and a close finish when all is said and done. The Hawks have the advantage at Phillips Arena, but don't count out a determined Wizards team that is looking to get back into the off-season after last years' nightmare. They will need to protect against Kent Bazemore and his explosive charges to the net. The Hawks are well-rounded and have weapons off the bench. We will see how a new coach and new roster fares with the Wizards.
