The Houston Rockets host the Atlanta Hawks tonight at 1:00 GMT and both teams looking forward to the All-Star break.
Tonight at Toyota Center, the Hawks come to town to face the Rockets. Both teams are evenly matched and it should be a great game, but they are both in need of the All Star break this month. The big story tonight is the return of Dwight Howard to Toyota Center, but wearing a different jersey, as he is now with the Hawks after spending 3 years with the Rockets. Tonight will mark the first time he is back and he will be shooting for the win to improve his new teams' fifth place standing.
The Hawks have still not been beaten by the Rockets this season and with more than just a few teams eyeing that coveted 4th place Eastern Conference seed, they will need every win they can. Aside from the Hawks, the Rockets have four other teams that they have not beaten in the NBA this year.
Keys to Victory
For the Hawks, it is all about the the trio of Paul Millsap, Dwight Howard and Denis Schroder. Millsap is the leading scorer averaging 17.9 per game, while Howard leads the team in rebounds with 12.8 and Schroder on assists with 6.3. The Rockets go to is, of course, James Harden, leading in points (28.4), rebounds (8.2) and assists (11.5). Harden has been in a slump after recording his second 50 point triple double the other day and the Rockets will need to support him with their other weapons.
Prediction
The Hawks are well behind in the odds and as the visiting team, their chances are not great against the Rockets. Expect the Rockets to dominate this game.
