The Portland Trailblazers and the Philadelphia 76ers meet tonight at Wells Fargo Center. For the hosts, they currently sit atop the Eastern Conference with a record of 16-6, and, are on a 4-game win streak. The visitors from Portland are no slouches and have been in decent form, splitting their last eight games. Most recently, the Blazers beat the Wizards in a 132-121 road win on Tuesday. Leading Portland in scoring was Damian Lillard with 32 points and eight assists, Gary Trent Jr. added 26 points, Carmelo Anthony hit 21 points off the bench, and Robert Covington helped out with 19 points.
Somewhat troubling for the Blazers, Damian Lillard was hurt in that game and is questionable for tonight.
The 76ers are enjoying their best season in recent years. They have won nine of their last 11 games, and, just like Portland, they have won four-in-a-row. Their latest win was against the Hornets in which Joel Embiid led the team with 34 points and 11 rebounds. Taking a supporting role, Tobias Harris added 26 points, Danny Green hit 16 points while Ben Simmons had 15 points and nine assists. They have really come together as a team and showed how good they are, going up 30-13 in the first quarter.
