NBA Preview: Bucks Vs. Pacers
Published March 4, 2020 by Sol FH
The Milwaukee Bucks host the Indiana Pacers tonight at 00:00 GMT and look to bounce back after their loss to the Heat.
The last time that the Bucks and the Pacers met was on February 13th, and the Pacers got the win at home - 118-111. It should be said that Bucks' star Giannis Antetokounmpo was not available for that game and the Pacers took full advantage. T.J. Warren, the Pacers' forward, scored 35 points and Domantas Sabonis, Myles Turner, and Malcolm Brogdon combined for 46. The Bucks couldn't find their groove without Giannis, with no player scoring more than 19-points that night.
Tonight, the story should be different. The Bucks, at home, but coming off a loss to the Miami Heat will be looking for a win, but the Pacers are rolling on a 4-game win streak. Indiana is averaging 109.4 points on 47.6 percent shooting. Warren is averaging 18.7 points and 3.9 rebounds while Sabonis is averaging 18.3 points and 4.9 assists to lead the team.
Last night, Giannis had a tough outing, only scoring 13-points in 31 minutes. He was a force on rebounds, bringing down 15, but there was simply not enough offense to stop Miami from getting the win.
Milwaukee is averaging 119.1 points on 47.9 percent shooting. Giannis Antetokounmpo is averaging 29.6 points and 13.8 rebounds while Khris Middleton is averaging 20.9 points and 6.3 rebounds.
The Pacers are in fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings with a 37-24 record. Milwaukee leads the Eastern Conference and the entire League with a 52-9 record. They have only lost 3 games at home this season and if Indiana wants any chance of winning, they will need all hands on deck.
