NBA Prime Time: Bulls vs Raptors Game Preview
Published March 21, 2017 by Sol FH
The Raptors look to win their first game against the Bulls in their last 11 against them. Tip-off is at 23:05 GMT.
The Raptors need to change some things against the Bulls if they are going to snap their current 11-game losing streak against them. This season, the Raptors have lost twice to the Bulls , but Head Coach Dwane Casey thinks that he has the solution. Play like they did against the Pacers on Sunday Night and they could get break the losing streak. On Sunday, the Raptors won 116-91 and are on a two-game win streak and hold on to fourth place in the Eastern Conference, just one game back of the Wizards in third place.
The Bulls have lost six of their last eight games, but showed some improvement in their last game against the Jazz. They really need to win more games and more consistently if they are to have hopes of making the playoffs. “It’s got to be a total team effort,” coach Fred Hoiberg related.
The Raptors are playing at home tonight, which should make things a bit easier with their home crowd at their back. They are 23-12 at home this season and the Bulls have a losing road record on the road at 13-22, so as long as the Raptors don't blow a big lead; like they did in their previous meeting with Chicago, then things should go their way tonight.
The Raptors are already geared for the playoffs – with a record of 41-29 going into the last 12 games of the regular season. They are in a really good place right now and hope that the post-season will take them to new heights for the first time in the franchises history.
