LeBron James and the Miami Heat lead the odds in online betting for the 2012-13 NBA Championship and Most Valuable Player awards, but Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers will be breathing down their neck.
NBA Title and MVP Betting
The 2012-13 NBA season tips off Wednesday, and Bet365 Sports is offering following title odds: Miami Heat, 9/4, Los Angeles Lakers, 11/4, Oklahoma City Thunder, 9/2, San Antonio Spurs, 12/1, Chicago Bulls, 16/1, Boston Celtics, 20/1, Los Angeles Clippers, 22/1, all other teams from 30/1 up to the Charlotte Bobcats at 500/1.
Much of the attention will be on the MVP award, where it will once again be the stars of the three biggest teams - LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and the Thunder's Kevin Durant - who command most of the interest. William Hill Online has LeBron as 7/4 favorite, followed by Durant, 3/1, Bryant, 8/1, and new Laker center Dwight Howard, 12/1.
