NCAA Final Live Betting: Wisconsin vs DukePublished April 7, 2015 by Sol FH
It is finally here! The biggest event in College Basketball tips off tonight at 2:18 (UK), as Wisconsin takes on Duke.
The last time that the Wisconsin Badgers won a National Title was in 1941, which was also the only time that they were crowned National Champions. They already won a game that could have easily been the tournament final, as they beat the unbeaten Kentucky Wildcats in the Final Four. The Badgers displayed a huge amount of heart, battling the Wildcats down the stretch and ultimately holding them off to win the game 71-64.
The Duke Blue Devils are no strangers to the NCAA Finals having won the Championship four times in their school’s history. In his 35-year-career with the Blue Devils, Head Coach Mike Krzyzewski was the man in charge of the Championship wins in 1991, 1992, 2001 and in 2010. Duke is poised to take home their fifth Championship tonight, but will need to play like they did during the regular season when they beat the Badgers in Wisconsin 80-70.
Who Will Win the NCAA Championship?
Wisconsin was led by their star Center Frank Kaminsky, whom scored 20 points and had 11 rebounds against Kentucky. They will definitely need another huge game from him, but also need Sam Dekker, Nigel Hayes and Bronson Koenig to come through yet again as well. Dekker is averaging over 20 points for the tournament and his 16 against Kentucky was after the Wildcats took extra defensive measures to try and stop him.
Duke looks comfortable on the hard court, like they should be here, which is probably true. Say what you want about the Blue Devils, this team means business and Krzyzewski is kind of a genius. They had three players with a couple shy of 20 points against Michigan State including Jahlil Okafor, Justise Winslow, and Quinn Cook, whom combined for 54 of the team’s 81.
NCAA Online Gambling Props: Where to Bet and Who to Choose
Even though Duke has already beaten Wisconsin this year, the Badgers are still favorites to win tonight at 1.83 by bet365 Sports. That could be because of the fact that Sam Dekker had an injured ankle for that game and only scored five points. Duke is not far behind at 2.00 but tonight could easily go either way. There are dozens of pre-game betting props for NCAA punters to choose from including Point Spread, which is at -1.0 for the Badgers and +1.0 for the Blue Devils, Double Result, Winning Margin and more.
