NCAA March Madness: West Virginia vs Gonzaga Sweet 16

The Mountaineers take on the Bulldogs in the Sweet 16 tonight at 23:35 GMT and bet365 Sports has all the action covered.
Gonzaga may be the favorites on paper tonight, but they will have a lot on their hands against West Virginia. The Bulldogs are seeded No.1 after a near perfect season (33-1), while the Mountaineers are ranked No.4 (28-8), but West Virginia's defense is what should really be something to watch. They meet tonight in San Jose and the winner will go on to the Elite Eight to face the winner of Xavier vs Arizona.
West Virginia's last game against the Fighting Irish was an excellent example of what its defense can do. Notre Dame only commit 9.5 turnovers per game, but against the press defense of the Mountaineers, they finished the game with 14. One of Gonzaga's weak spot's is turnovers. Against Northwestern in their round two game they committed 13, which led to 17 points. "We got a little challenged at the other end and started making bonehead passes and bonehead decisions, and needed to just settle down," Gonzaga coach Mark Few related. This simply will not do against West Virginia who average 20.1 forced turnovers per game to lead the nation.
The biggest problem for West Virginia tonight will be their lack of a real big man that can match up with Przemek Karnowski in the post. The 7-foot-1, 300 pound center controls the boards. What they lack for at center they make up for with their guards, as Daxter Miles and Tarik Phillip are playing and scoring incredibly.
