NCAAB Betting: Villanova vs. North Carolina

NCAAB National Championship Game tonight at 1:15 GMT, with pre-game and in-play betting odds at bet365 sports.

Every basketball players yearns for the moment. To cut the net down from the rim after winning the NCAAB National Championship. Well, for either the Villanova Wildcats or the North Carolina Tar Heels that moment will come after tonight’s National Championship, following their successful Final Four bids.

The Final Four was fairly anticlimactic. Villanova absolutely crushed Oklahoma by a record 44-points, while North Carolina downed Syracuse 83-66. The Final Four are usually the most exciting games to watch, but this year’s blowouts, although great to watch were not as thrilling as year’s past. The Final at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas should be everything that we missed out in the Final Four.

Key Players

The Wildcats bring a solid starting five and bench to the court, led by Josh Hart. Hart scored 23 points and shot 10 of 12, with eight rebounds, four assists and some crucial steals. In contrast, Joel Berry II hit it big for the Tar Heels scoring 8 points and ten assists and seven boards. The Wildcats’ defense held Oklahoma star guard Buddy Hield to a mere 9 points, which made all the difference in the win.

For both Villanova and North Carolina, this will not be their first time to the finals. The Wildcats are 1-1 all time, while North Carolina is 5-4. The Tar Heels have beaten the Wildcats in the March Madness tournament three times over the years. If North Carolina is to beat Villanova tonight, they will need to shoot much better from beyond the three-point line after missing 11-straight 3-balls against Syracuse.
