NetEnt's certification makes eCOGRA a regulatory audit partner for over 150 multinational operator organisations, software providers and service providers.
NetEnt has added a significant new certification.
The Certification
ISO 27001 certification is the new operating standard from eCOGRA.
Nasdaq-listed software provider NetEnt joins the list of operators cleared by eCOGRA's accredited testing laboratory for compliance with the International Standards Organisation 27001:2013 certification for Information Security Management Systems.
CTO of eCOGRA Speaks
CTO and Certified 27001 Lead Auditor for eCOGRA Bradley Khourey called the comprehensive certification activities performed as part of the eCOGRA's certification across multiple jurisdictions “particularly well supported by senior management at NetEnt.”
NetEnt CIO Speaks
NetEnt representative CIO Security Officer Lars Andersson expressed his pride for being recognised as an organisation of the top standard of commitment to security, business operations and corporate governance.
Another COGRA senior executive Chief Executive Shaun McCallaghan had more praise, lauding NetEnt for the prestigious achievement of a certification receiving increased emphasis and reliance.
Other Certificate Awards
NetEnt joins a list that already includes other major operators recognized by eCOGRA such as bet365, Betway, Kindred, Paf and Bede Gaming.
The achievement further spotlights eCOGRA as an organisation whose efforts are meeting increasing demand for certification in the iGaming space.
The Rise of eCOGRA
At this juncture, eCOGRA is firmly in the leadership position as the only online gambling test laboratory accredited to offer this ISO certification.
Dating back to 2003, eCOGRA was founded to improve operational standards and player safety requirements in the online gambling space.
In the near two decades that have passed, eCOGRA has jumped out ahead by amassing a wealth of experience in implementing international best practice standards and requirements and ensuring their maintenance through increasingly uniform regular review and monitoring procedures.
Outlook
NetEnt's entry into their certification ranks stands as a further widespread acceptance of eCOGRA and the need for operators to have subscribe to the vital supplemental guidance of a regulatory certification standard.
