New AGS-OGL Deal Brings iGaming to Real Money Players via Ontario Lottery

American Gaming supplier AGS has partnered with the Ontario Lottery in a new iGaming expansion deal.
A major new entry into the incoming anticipated Canadian online gambling market has taken place.
The Partnership Deal
The deal comes in the form of a joint launch between Las Vegas-based digital supplier American Gaming Systems AGS and Ontario Lottery Gaming Corporation OLG of competition for Canadian real money.
Expanding Canadian Presence
AGS' presence in Canada increases significantly with the new deal, on the heels of another joint launch earlier this month in coordination with Loto-Québec via Scientific Games’ Open Gaming System (OGS).
First Offering
The latest AGS agreement leads with the introduction of AGS' Asian-themed PowerXStream game, Golden Wins to players at the Crown corporation-owned OLG.ca gaming site.
OLG Rep Speaks
OLG Chief Digital and Strategy Officer Dave Pridmore described the enhanced experience his organisation will bring to his platform's players:
“We strive to give our OLG.ca customers enhanced choice and access to new, fresh, cutting-edge games in a safe and secure online environment, and we are confident that AGS will help deliver that for our players.”
OLG Strategy
Of his organisation's greater strategy, Pridmore affirmed that bringing new suppliers such as AGS to the Ontario jurisdiction market serves to enhance offerings to players which serve to “keep those dollars in the province for the benefit of Ontarians,” calling this social re-investment the quality that sets his organisation apart from competitors.
Further Roll-out
The Golden Wins introduction will be followed by introduction of more leading AGS games to OLG players, including Capital Gains, Bonanza Blast, Vegas Stacks, and Fu nan Fu Nu and more.
AGS Rep Speaks
AGS Executive Vice President of Operations Matt Reback commented on the deal in a press release, saying his company was “excited” about their maiden launch into Canada then adding games to the OLG.ca site in the coming months.
New NHL Licensing Deal
Another recent key AGS deal is AGS' first North American professional ice hockey licensing deal. The deal with the National Hockey League NHL deal calls for AGS to develop NHL-themed slot games alongside land-based products in the United States and Canada.
Outlook
With legislation across Canada imminent, the AGS-OLG deal lays the groundwork for a win-win infrastructure to support well-laid expansion plans for both in the valuable Ontario province and beyond.
