The Garden State Readies for November 26h Online Gambling Extravaganza.
Anyone within the state of New Jersey will soon be able to gamble online thanks to new regulations that go into effect on the 26 th November. The Garden State joins Nevada and Delaware as one of three states that has agreed to regulate online casino gambling.
The 12 casinos include: Taj Mahal, Trump Plaza, Caesars Entertainment (4 casinos), the Borgata, The Golden Nugget, The Tropicana, Revel, the Atlantic Club, and Resorts.
A 5-day trial period for online gambling will take effect on the 21 st November. During this time regulators will evaluate the system. Then on the 26 th November all 12 legally sanctioned casinos in New Jersey will be able to offer online gambling to patrons.
Online Casino and Online Poker Games
There are several requirements that need to be satisfied in order for players to enjoy online casino and poker gambling. These include being physically present in the state of New Jersey and being of legal age to gamble (21).
The regulation is seen as a way to boost NJs revenue from a low of just over $3 billion in 2012. It is estimated that between $35 million and $180 million in taxable revenue will be generated every year.
