Betcris is establishing unique positioning with parallel LatAm and national competition sponsorship expansion.
A rare gambling sponsorship between the government and a private operator has been extended in the greater LatAm region.
The deal is an extension of several significant national team sponsorships leading Latin America sports betting operator Betcris signed last year.
National Sponsorship Trend
After inking agreements with the Brazilian Championship and with the Mexican national soccer team, Betcris has added Panama baseball federation Fedebeise to its national sponsorship partner list.
Betcris Placement in Panama
The deal to be 2020 National Championship sponsor marks the extension of last year's initial agreement, calling for the brand to be visible in competition stadiums and on advertising banners. Additional Betcris proprietary rights to Fedebeis include featuring logos next to team names and players.
App and Stream
The official event app will feature a digital banner from the sports games operator offering live stream exposure across its YouTube and Facebook Live channels.
Betcris will feature 30-second advertisements during matches along with insertions to other social media channels.

Fedebeis marketing and communication manager Max Estrada was honored to welcome the second year of the agreement:
“Betcris’ arrival in the Panamanian baseball family is a great boost to the sport, to the athletes and, above all, to the hundreds of thousands of fans that accompany each season.”
Betcris National Expansion
This part of an ambitious strategy to expand the Betcris brand across Latin America.
In addition to the aforementioned sponsorship agreements in Brazil and Mexico, Betcris has also signed on to be official betting partners of the Canadian Elite Basketball League; and LatAm Major League Baseball and National Football Leagues.
The MLB LatAm Deal
Betcris currently has in place a multi-year international partnership with MLB Latin America, which allows Betcris to feature league logos on its website and mobile app, with international MLB Jewel Event broadcasts featuring Betcris marketing and advertising in regulated Latin American countries.
For its efforts, Betcris has earned no small amount of industry recognition. SBC Gaming for one has named Betcris a finalist for Sponsorship of the Year award at December's SBC Awards.
The Panama deal is a welcome affirmation of the sustained commitment of Betcris to LatAm, in a greater market brimming with opportunity for the industry.
