Scientific Games Corporation have just released details of a new appointment to the position of President and CEO. Gavin Isaacs, formerly at SHFL entertainment has joined the company, replacing David Kennedy who stood in as interim CEO following the exit of twenty-year veteran Lorne Weil at the end of 2013.

Experience is Key

Strategic Thinker

Commenting on the appointment, Scientific Games' chairman Ronald Perelman said ''We were fortunate to have a leader of David's stature and experience at such an important time, and we are pleased that he will continue to serve the company and our stockholders as executive vice chairman.'' He added that Gavin's' focus on strategic thinking, customer relationships and experience in growing similar businesses make him an ideal choice to improve the bottom line and improve cash flow at Scientific Games.

Speaking about his new position, Gavin said he was looking forward to working with the team at Scientific Games, as they ''concentrate on creating and distributing innovative products and services to our customers, completing the integration of WMS and enhancing stockholder value.''
