Irish Winter Festival Mega Satellite at Paddy Power

Paddy Power Poker's Irish Winter Festival Mega Satellite will take place on Sunday, October 13 th , beginning at 8 PM GMT. This year the buy-in has been reduced - a €160 + €10 is required for the no-limit Hold'em freezeout satellite. Players can attempt to qualify to the festival through Sit 'n' Go games or through one of the many daily feeder satellites, or buy-in directly.

Up for grabs are twenty packages for the Festival, each worth of €1,700. Players who'll secure their seat in the festival will be eligible to benefit from the added bonus of the Six Survivor promotion; the final six qualifiers which will remain in the IWF live event will be awarded a free entry to the Irish Open 2014 - along with any of the prize money that they have picked up.

The Irish Winter Festival

The Irish Winter Festival is an annual poker festival taking place in Dublin ever since 2001. This festival attracts many poker aficionados from all around the world yearly, including some of the world's most famous poker players. The festival traditionally takes place during the three days of the October bank holiday weekend and this year is no exception.

The festival will take place October 25-28 at the Double Tree Hotel in Dublin. Paddy Power will host weekly super satellites for the event every Sunday at 9 PM and Thursday at 8 PM. Players can also directly purchase IWF tickets via the Paddy Power Poker client or in the VIP store.
