Next Week's Prague Gaming Summit to Feature Many Interesting Expert Speakers

The Prague Gaming Summit 2017 will feature a number of experts from legal and other departments relevant for the growth of the gambling industry in the country.
Taking place next week on June 8-9, 2017 in the Czech Republic capital, the Prague Gaming Summit aims to gather a number of relevant experts from the various fields of the gambling industry. These experts will deliver speeches, create workshops, and exchange ideas about what the country could do to attract operators to this newly regulated market.
With the time growing near, the list of featured speakers is being confirmed, and we can already say that the Prague Gaming Summit will feature many interesting experts whose willingness to share their knowledge and experiences could prove invaluable to achieving the earlier mentioned goal.
Jiřina Jůzlová and Tereza Cejpová
The new regulatory framework will be one of the biggest challenges for the Czech Republic moving forward, with all its positive and negative points. The regulation which became effective on January 1, 2017, will be the focus of the "Focus on the Czech Republic" panel, scheduled for June 8.
Jiřina Jůzlová and Tereza Cejpová will be joining on behalf of the Czech regulators. Ms. Jůzlová is the Head of the State Supervision and International Cooperation Unit: Supervision of Gambling Department with the Ministry of Finance, whose primary duties are the proper implementation of the regulation and illegal gambling.
Tereza Cejpová is the Head of Legal and Methodology Unit with the same Department, tasked with creation a framework for an open and transparent market, which focuses on the player protection.
Knut-Olaf Skarvang
Joining the "Scandinavian panel," Knut-Olaf Skarvang of Norwegian Deloitte Legal is an expert on the matters of taxation with regards to both, players and gaming companies. He's garnered a lot of experience over the years, representing some high-profile poker players from Norway in cases involving taxation and income reporting. He's also advised various gambling companies on the regulatory issues.
Stanislav Brunclík
Stanislav Brunclik is another confirmed speaker for the "Focus on the Czech Republic" panel. The President of the Czech Chamber of Lottery Industries, a body that was established in 1990 with a role to facilitate the exchange of information between the Ministry of Finance and businesses. Mr. Brunclik has had a rich career in the media and culture before taking on his role with the Chamber of Lottery.
With these and many other speakers scheduled to be at the Prague Gaming Summit 2017, this conference represents a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into the newly regulated Czech market and its future.
