NFL Approves 'Select Group' Of Sportsbooks

Sol FH. - September 6, 2021

The NFL has approved FOX Bet, BetMGM, PointsBet, and WynnBET to provide wagering services and present ads during NFL games.

The NFL has approved four online sportsbooks to serve as the officially approved operators for the 2021 regular season. FOX Bet, BetMGM, PointsBet, and WynnBET will be allowed to purchase in-game advertisements and other NFL media offerings.

These four operators join Caesars, FanDuel, and DraftKings, who all already signed approved bookmaker agreements back in April.

Together, these seven operators will be the only ones permitted to advertise during regular-season games.

“We are pleased to announce this select group as approved sportsbook operators,” commented Nana-Yaw Asamoah, VP of business development for the NFL.

“Along with our three official sports betting partners, this group of operators will help the league to engage fans in responsible and innovative ways this season as the sports betting landscape continues to evolve.”

Each of the operators was truly thankful for the decision.

Grateful for the Opportunity

“For decades, the National Football League has been entertaining fans in unprecedented ways, along the way building one of the strongest and most recognizable global brands, an intensely loyal fanbase, and a reputation for breaking the mold,” CEO of BetMGM Adam Greenblatt said. “We have the same fan-driven purpose at BetMGM.”

“Our partnership with the NFL is extremely exciting for our business. We’ll soon debut a new national ad campaign featuring Jamie Foxx, deliver our players a wide variety of first-class experiences, and so much more.

“As always, we remain laser-focused on innovating for the fan, at the stadium, in our physical sportsbooks, and on their digital devices.”

Fans of football are also raving about the news of the agreements and will finally be able to choose from a wider selection of approved bookmakers to provide their online wagering activity. There will be certain limitations as to what type of ads can be run, but, this agreement will definitely play a major role in the future of NFL gambling.
