Two AFC powerhouses go head-to-head, as the New England Patriots visit the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football at 00:30 (UK).
Monday Night Football travels to Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri as the Chiefs host the Patriots in front of a sold out stadium. This matchup should be an excellent battle from start to finish, as Tom Brady and the Patriots try to improve to 3-1, while Alex Smith and the struggling Chiefs try to make it 2-2. Tonight will be the first time since 2005 that these teams have faced each other in Kansas City and with both teams coming off a win last week; it should make for an action-packed game.
On the Sidelines
It is already week 4 and luckily, neither the Chiefs nor the Patriots have been plagued by injuries. The Chiefs are down a few players but nothing that cannot be resolved by their backup players. Joe McKnight (RB) is the only Chief that is definitely out for the game tonight after he suffered a ruptured Achilles at practice on Thursday. In addition, Sean Smith (CB), Tamba Hali (LB) and Jamaal Charles (RB) are all probable. De'Anthony Thomas is still questionable after a hamstring injury.
The Patriots are in better shape and only Rob Gronkowski (TE) is questionable for tonight's game.
In any case, both teams will need to leave it all on the field if they want to win. Last week showed that the Patriots need work on their interior line and need to move the ball a lot better through the air as Brady has only 3 TD's so far.
The home team Chiefs are coming off a big win against the Dolphins 34-15 and must use that momentum to defeat the Patriots.
