NFL Monday Night Football: Eagles vs. Redskins

The NFL wraps up an incredible week of action with the Philadelphia Eagles against the Washington Redskins tonight at 1:15 GMT.
The reigning Super Bowl Champion Philadephia Eagles are back in action tonight looking to turn their season back to .500 with a win over the Washington Redskins tonight on Monday Night Football. The Skins and the Eagles are in the NFC North and are in second and third place respectively. Washington has dropped a couple of games in-a-row leaving them at 6-5, while the Eagles just edged the Giants last week 25-22 to pull within one win of getting back even on the season.
Now before we get to the prediction and odds posted ahead of the Week 13 finale, here are a few things to consider first.
Philidelphia has struggled to win back-to-back games all year and had yet to do so. The team has been about as inconsistent as possible this year for the good and the bad. Not that the Redskins are this consistent well-oiled machine, but this Eagles team was once thought to rival the Patriots' dynasty.
Both the Skins and the Eagles need to keep on track and pace with the Cowboys, so the NFC leaders do not get too far out in front. The Cowboys are playing great football and have won four-straight including last nights' close game against the Saints. With the Boys up and enjoying a nice little streak, the Eagles and the Redskins are both in must-win situations right now.
There is a big rivalry tonight as the Redskins' own, Adrian Peterson is making a winning case for the NFL's 'Comeback Player of the Year,' award. The face-off between Peterson and Philly's outstanding RB, Josh Adams will most-likely occur even though Adams is still questionable.
Injuries have been an issue for the Birds all season long, and they are running out of healthy bodies to get on the gridiron, but at least their Offensive Line is getting better.
Betting Odds and Prediction
The odds are in favor of the struggling Eagles with bet365 Sports posting at 1.37 for them to win on the Money Line. The Redskins, with the better record, are underdogs at 3.20. The Redskins are our favorite to win tonight.
