NFL Monday Night Football: Jets vs Cardinals Live Odds

The New York Jets travel to Glendale to take on the Cardinals tonight at 1:30 GMT.

The 3rd place NFC West Arizona Cardinals host the 3rd place AFC East Jets tonight for Monday Night Football and both teams are in need of a win to get back into the regular season. The Cardinals are 2-3 and are coming off a big win last Thursday against the San Francisco 49ers 33-21 after taking over the 3rd and 4th quarter with incredible offense and defense. Tonight, at home, the Cardinals seek to extend their winning streak to two games, but must take the Jets out first.

The New York Jets are having a dismal season. After falling to 1-4 after Week 5 and losing to the Steelers 31-13, questions are popping up on where this team needs to go and who needs to get out before more damage is done. The Jets have been building their roster for a few years now, but cannot seem to get the recipe right. The Steelers basically did whatever they wanted last game and the Jets' defense needs to wake up and soon.

At QB, both Carson Palmer for the Cardinals and Ryan Fitzpatrick for the Jets are incredibly evenly matched. Palmer has gone 90 for 153, with 1150 yards and 6 touchdowns. Fitzpatrick is 111 for 192 with 1267 yards and 5 touchdowns. Offensively, both teams are matched for passing and total yards per game, but the Jets are allowing 370 yards per game through the air and 27.2 points per game. Obviously defense is one of the main issues for the Jets.
